Vital Information for Prospective Delegates
Detailed information about each programme is available on specific programme information and can be provided on request. All prospective delegates are expected to have completed application procedures at least 6 – 8 weeks before the commencement of the selected programme. Each delegate will receive a brand new iPad mini with a mobile wifi device and USB storage drive pre-loaded with all tool-kits / software as discussed during the training programme, where it is specified. Delegates training incentives may include others items, but this will be confirmed in the programme information pack sent to individual delegate.
VISA AND TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
The cost for the programme, shown above, does not include travel expense to the venue city as well as the cost of lodging and accommodation. Arrangement for these activities must be coordinated by delegates, but we are happy to provide any necessary assistance.
Delegates must ensure that they have a valid passport and appropriate visa. Delegates are particularly advised to ensure that they complete all nomination process at least six to eight (6 – 8) weeks before the commencement of the programme. This is to ensure that all necessary visa application documentations are provided to delegates for the embassies and high commission for the training venues.
It is important to start early preparations towards securing passports, applicable visas, travel health and accident insurance, as well as any clearances that you may need. All delegates are advised to budget appropriately for any medical contingency that may arise.
It is advised that delegates arrive at the venue city at least one full day (i.e. 24 hours) before the commencement of the programme. Most nations require visas to attend programmes in the venue cities, but if you are not sure whether you need a visa, please contact CRID for further clarifications.
Our Logistics Coordinators will liaise with delegates from the time of flight booking up to time of arrival, to arrange pick up and checking into the chosen place of accommodation. The coordinators will also arrange daily movement from place of accommodation to training venue as well as study trips, during the entire duration of the programme.
Each delegate must complete separate application form, even where group participation is being considered.
It is essential that delegates have permission from their organisation to attend this training and that they complete an application form. Payment can either be made by cheque, credit/debit card, or bank transfer. Confirmation of place is only possible if application forms are accompanied by payment, or an evidence of payment. Note that submission of application forms can only be accepted by post, fax or email.
If you are unable to attend training programme, you must inform CRID at least five (5) days in advance, otherwise you will be invoiced the full amount for the programme. As places are limited, please return your application form as soon as possible (preferably online applications). The dates and venue of each programme are subject to change as provision depend on having the minimum number (usually between 6 and 8 delegates) required to commence training.
